VK UP Olomouc defeat 1. BVK Bratislava

In the women's MEVZA Cup VK UP OLOMOUC of the Czech Republic cruised on Tuesday night to a commanding 3-0 (25-18, 25-22, 25-21) victory over Slovakia's 1. BVK BRATISLAVA. The win takes the Czechs to the fifth spot of the current standing on eight points. As a result, the team from Olomouc still stand a chance of progressing to the Final Four tournament.

The women's competition will continue on Wednesday when hosts Linamar Bekescsabai RSE will face VK UP Olomouc. The Hungarian side had to cope with a disappointing setback, losing th clash with 1. BVK Bratislava in four sets on Monday.
